Training
Training becomes a key component to help maximize the business advantages that can be achieved through the use of Inventiv Software products. The core aim is to provide the knowledge, expertise and confidence necessary to exploit the benefits our programs provide. With classes taught by experienced professionals with a wide range of relevant Inventiv product knowledge, groups are kept small to allow for discussion on ideas and individual experience. Training takes place at customer sites, where courses are tailored to the requirements of individual clients. Inventiv Software Training Services are clearly focused on one main objective: to ensure that each and every student becomes a master of our programs.
Ongoing Technical Support and Maintenance
The keys to a great system are a good design and regular maintenance. Inventiv believes we can always improve upon our products so as part of the annual maintenance you are entitled to all the upgrades. We add new features every year at the request of our wholesaler customers. We also find ways to make the software more efficient. All our customers pay the annual maintenance because the upgrades offer real benefit to this mission critical system. Here are some additional details:
- Upgrades - All new versions are included in the annual maintenance plan
- Unlimited Phone Support - We are based in Memphis, Tennessee and operate our office from 8am – 6pm central time. After hours the 800-number support line calls are forwarded to the on-call cell phone. This service is included as part of your annual maintenance. If you are having a problem with your system we want to know about it so we can help.
- Training:
- Unlimited Webex based phone training. We have found this to be the best and most cost effective way to train a small group of users
- Initial training It is best if is done live. There is a fee of $125 per hour with a 6 hour minimum plus travel. We know exactly what the sales reps need to get out and write orders that day so you can go live with the system. It typically takes 1-2 hours for a class of 15-30 to train.
- Online training: New in 2008 we will introduce web based training. We will include the basics of how to write and order but will also have segments on more advanced features like margin calculation and sequencing a store to increase your speed. Details will be provided once the program is ready to start.
- Server Checks - As part of the plan our staff checks every system every day. Some of this is done with an automated process the remaining checks are done by our trained personnel. We want your system to run perfectly but we know there are always things that can come up. We will be there with you every day keeping your system running smoothly as part of the plan.
